Fiona Allan
Maths Education Consultant at Self employed
Fiona Allan is a highly qualified professional with a strong background in Mathematics Education. She attended The Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh for her early education before pursuing a Bachelor of Education (BEd) with Merit in the Practice of Teaching at Edinburgh University. Fiona further enhanced her academic qualifications by completing an MSc in Computer Enhanced Maths Education with Distinction, for which she was awarded the University Medal at Napier University.
With a passion for Mathematics Education, Fiona has held various roles in different organizations. She currently serves as a Maths Education Consultant, offering her expertise independently. Previously, she represented ACME at the Joint Mathematical Council, contributed as a Member of the Advisory Committee on Mathematics Education, and held the position of NCETM Assistant Director at NCETM. Fiona also has experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Godalming College, where she imparted her knowledge and skills to students.
