Fhiwa Ndou
Community building, advocating for youth representation in leadership, and teaching entrepreneurship
Fhiwa Ndou is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience leading growth, managing teams, and cultivating communities for startups and nonprofits globally.
Currently, he spearheads community engagement and outreach at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, fostering connections between people, plants, and nature through horticulture, education, and research.
In 2024, Fhiwa founded Blueprint ME (Blueprint Maine, Inc.), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering marginalized youth in Maine by offering youth leadership and development programs for Black and Brown immigrant teens.
Beyond his professional commitments, Fhiwa volunteers, writes, and contributes to designing products addressing education inequality and behavioral health concerns.
As an educator, coach, and mentor, Fhiwa supports teens, college students, early-stage entrepreneurs, and small-business owners.
Fhiwa's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History and Africana Studies from Bowdoin College.
His past roles include Board Member at Startup Maine, Community Engagement Director at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, President of Teamshares, among others.
Fhiwa's diverse skill set and experiences make him a valuable asset in areas such as community engagement, youth empowerment, education, and leadership development.
Outside of work, Fhiwa enjoys various hobbies like traveling, hiking, gardening, birdwatching, and music as a drummer and singer.
