Senior Billing Manager

- Work proactively with team members to ensure that daily staging and invoicing goals are being met- Help to develop and maintain team motivation as well as team-work skills within the group- Coach team leads through questions or issues related to contracts and billing- Ensure superb customer service by all team members, to both internal and external customers. This includes both the accuracy and timeliness of responses and issue resolution- Hire, train and supervise team of 9 billing specialists and leads- Reconcile A/R accounts and assist with revenue forecast- Implementation of and transition to new billing system - Review and interpret software subscription and professional services contracts terms and conditions, and be able to confirm validity and accuracy- Act as backup for Team Leads when necessary for preparing and generating customer invoices for standard and non-standard contracts- Work with team leads to resolve any escalated billing issues- Confirm Credit Memos and corresponding rebills are accurate and conform with internal credit/rebill policies- Work with global sales force assisting with contracts and customer related questions- Assist with monthly revenue close, revenue reporting and reconciliation- Assist with monthly professional service projects reconciliation- Respond to Field (sales and service) escalations and customer service requests

- Monthly meetings with CEO and Partners to review profitability, revenue and receivables•Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and manage all staff in the billing and collection group •Ensure that all invoices are collected or tracked according to company policies •Manage the collection activities for a select group of problem/complex accounts.  Act as an escalation point prior to further collection actions •Provide support to clients, shareholders and staff by responding to inquiries, researching problems and providing acceptable solutions•Monitor staff to ensure compliance with collection laws and policies•Review and control daily collection reports •Liaise with Controller on receivable and collection related issues•Lead and direct day-to-day billing and collection activities
