Rahsaan Harris, PhD, is a transformative leader and CEO of the Citizens Committee for New York City. With over 20 years of experience in leading nonprofits and international grantmaking, his expertise lies in community improvement, socio-economic diversity, and philanthropic interests. Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of the Emma Bowen Foundation and Executive Director of the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy. He holds a PhD in Urban and Public Policy from The New School, an MS in Management from New York University, an MA in Secondary Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BA in Biology from Princeton University. Dr. Harris is on a mission to empower and inspire the community through his passion for education and philanthropy.
