Olivier Rikken is an experienced professional with an extensive background in various industries such as finance, government, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare. Armed with a Master's Degree in System Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management, as well as an MBA from Nyenrode Business University, and a Philosophical background, Olivier founded Emerging Horizons, a boutique consultancy firm that assists companies of all sizes in preparing for the upcoming technologies like blockchain, AI, and big data. He is a seasoned keynote speaker on blockchain, with a specialization in sustainable blockchain and smart contract implementations, and his latest venture is CEO at Ledger Leopard. Olivier mentors various blockchain startups and is actively involved in the Dutch Blockchain Coalition.

Throughout his career, Olivier has demonstrated his expertise in areas such as Managing sourcing, strategy and reorganization implementations, business process management, project management in PMOs, and consultancy in process improvement. He is skilled in developing strategies and implementation/project plans, (re-)engineering business processes, Business Continuity Management/Crisis Management, and Records and Information Management. He also has extensive experience in large-scale IT and business projects, such as SEPA implementation, M&A deals, and bank closures.
