    Fernanda Moreno is a 4th-year B.S. Computational Media student at Georgia Tech with concentrations in Human-Computer Interaction and Film & Media studies. Post-graduation, she is set to begin her career as a Technology Consultant at Capgemini in Chicago.

    Fernanda is honing her skills as a software engineer, experience designer, and digital storyteller with a focus on creating impactful technology using a human-centered design approach.

    With a unique blend of computer science and design skills, she is keen on exploring opportunities in front-end development, user experience design, product design and management, and human-computer interaction research and technologies.

    Her educational background includes studying Computer Science at Girls Who Code, earning a High School Diploma from Freedom High School, and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computational Media at Georgia Institute of Technology.

    Throughout her academic journey, Fernanda has been actively involved in various organizations, including serving as a Digital Media Student Assistant at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, a Teaching Assistant & Mentor for CS 1100 (Freshman Leap Seminar) at the College of Computing, and a Lead UX Software Engineer at the Coronavirus Visualization Team.

    She has also gained professional experience through roles such as a Web Development Intern at NASA, a Software Development and Design Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, and a User Experience Researcher/ Secret Shopper at Georgia Institute of Technology.
