Founder and Investor
Freddie Martignetti is the founder of Nava Ventures, an early-stage investment firm based in San Francisco, which he established in October 2021. Nava Ventures focuses on connecting founders with resources and opportunities to enhance their businesses. In addition to his role at Nava, Martignetti is also a co-founder of Rosaluna, a mezcal company, which he started in 2018.
Martignetti has a significant background in investment and finance. Before founding Nava Ventures, he served as a Principal at Highland Capital Partners from 2016 to 2021, where he was involved in investments in various successful startups. He also founded Suffolk Equity Partners, where he was a General Partner from 2011 to 2016. His career began at Lehman Brothers as an Analyst, followed by a position as an Associate at Barclays Capital.
In terms of education, Martignetti attended Phillips Academy, then earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Harvard University (2002-2006), and later completed his studies at Harvard Business School (2009-2011) .123
