Feras Shadid

Feras Shadid is a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He excels in delivering solar EPC and PPA projects totaling over 20 MWp across the MENA region. Prior to his current role at Enerwhere, Feras built a diverse career in sustainability management, offering expertise as an ESG advisor to clients in the GCC. He specializes in sustainability, social responsible investments, and stakeholder engagement adhering to various international standards such as UN PRI, IR, SASB, GRI, CDP, and OECD.

His skill set includes the integration of renewable energy systems, solar-diesel hybrid systems, technical modeling of renewable energy systems, energy growth trends and demand forecasts, energy auditing, energy efficiency, energy control and automation systems, socially responsible investments (SRI), stakeholder engagement (UN Global Compact), CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), OECD guidelines for Corporate Governance, supply chain audits, supplier screening, and sustainability reporting (Global Reporting Initiative).

Feras holds a Bachelor's degree in Power & Energy Engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman. Additionally, he earned a business Diploma from Kelley School of Business, Indiana, and is an Alumni of the AMENDS program at Stanford University, California.
