    Felix Oldenburg is a pioneering figure in social entrepreneurship, finance, and innovation, known for his bottom-up approach to ideas.

    Having an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, Felix previously served as the Secretary General at the Association of German Foundations and chaired DAFNE (Donors and Foundations Networks in Europe).

    His achievements have been recognized through appearances in Germany's prestigious '40 under 40' list multiple times and receiving the German PR Award in 2007.

    With a diverse educational background in Philosophy and Policy Management from universities like Bonn, Tübingen, Oxford, and Georgetown, Felix combined his knowledge to start an internet company early in his career.

    Felix gained valuable corporate experience at McKinsey & Company in London before transitioning to leading large-scale citizen participation projects across Europe and subsequently joining Ashoka as the Director for Germany in 2009.

    During his tenure at Ashoka, Felix spearheaded various groundbreaking initiatives, such as establishing the first Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship and expanding Ashoka programs in several European countries.

    Felix is highly engaged in the global discourse on social innovation, serving on several boards, and is a frequent speaker and contributor to international publications.

    Currently, Felix lives in Berlin with his wife and two children, where he continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of social entrepreneurship and innovative ideas.
