Felipe Torres

Felipe Torres is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for sustainable transportation and industrial design. He attended Walter Payton College Preparatory High School before pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University, where he also served as a Leadership Consultant and BLUEPRINT Mentor. Torres holds a Certificate in Industrial Design Engineering from Oakton Community College and studied Urban Sustainable Transportation during his time abroad at Delft University of Technology.

The engineer gained experience in various fields through internships and roles as a Retail Specialist at Half Acre Beer Company, Process Engineer I at Glenair, and Co-op at Abiomed, Arsenal Medical, and Boston Scientific. While studying at Northeastern, he worked on a research project utilizing a Near Infrared Laser for the Optical Detection of Foot Stress Fractures. His previous experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Globetrotters Engineering Corporation has also contributed to his knowledge and expertise.
