Felipe Guimarães is a Brazilian-born designer who has made a name for himself in the international world of UX design. He is a UX Master Certified by Nielsen Norman Group, and he has worked for both enterprises and startups in the UK, Europe, the US, and Brazil. With a passion for teaching, Felipe has been mentoring designers since 2016 and is the founder of Aela.io, an online education platform about design. His goal is to be a better designer, leader and teacher, working with great teams and leading projects for global companies.
Felipe studied Digital Design and Graphic Design at Centro Universitário Carioca and Centro Universitário da Cidade respectively. He has also completed a Master of Arts in Design Management at Northumbria University and studied User Experience & Product Design at The Interaction Design Foundation. Throughout his career, Felipe has worked for renowned organizations such as Microsoft, VMware Pivotal Labs, and SAP Concur, among others. His areas of expertise include design research, user experience, motion design, and design management.
