Felipe Gaitan-Mejia is a passionate environmental strategist with a diverse background in ecology, education, project management, and research. He holds degrees from the University of Surrey, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and the University of British Columbia, where he studied GIS, project management, and English as a Second Language. As an educator, Felipe helped students become aware of their environmental impact and how to reduce it. He also managed a sustainable farm and helped businesses and organizations achieve their sustainability goals through innovation and best practices. With his MSc in Environmental Strategy, Felipe is proficient in various environmental management and consultancy duties, including life cycle assessments, carbon footprinting, and policy evaluation. He is an active practitioner member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and the coordinator of the Sussex and Surrey IEMA Region. Throughout his career, Felipe has been a driving force for change and constant motion towards sustainability.
