Jeremy Humphries is a highly experienced and talented Director of Photography with a vast portfolio of documentary work spanning over three decades. Starting out as an Assistant Film Cameraman at the BBC Television, he eventually climbed the ladder and worked as a Freelance Film Cameraman before joining Berrymead Productions Ltd as their Director of Photography. Along the way, he shot several BAFTA nominated series and won an International Best Cinematography Award. His love for storytelling has taken him across the globe, filming diverse subjects ranging from child victims of the Angolan civil war and Nelson Mandela campaigning for black farmers' rights in South Africa to capturing the last British and German veterans of the First World War meet. With a passion for using the camera to tell stories, Jeremy also mentors and trains others in camera craft through his company, Skills2Film. Clients of his business include the BBC, corporate organizations such as GSK and The Financial Times, as well as independent production companies, which speaks to his wide-ranging expertise and knowledge across different industries.
