Margaret Van Vliet is a highly experienced affordable housing executive with deep roots in commercial real estate lending. She has an extensive background in state and local government, having worked for two Oregon governors as the director of the state’s housing finance agency. She is also the founder and principal at Trillium Advisors, LLC, a firm that specializes in affordable housing. Margaret led Sonoma County's housing recovery efforts in the wake of the 2017 wildfires that destroyed 5300 homes, and served as the agency head for the Sonoma County Community Development Commission. Her education includes Executive Education at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Linfield University.
