Federico Leguizamo

Federico Leguizamo is a high-performance psychologist, university professor, and researcher at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) in Spain.14 He is a faculty member in the Department of Psychology and serves as a professor of Human Resource Management.7 Leguizamo is actively involved in research at the Behavior and Technology Laboratory (BATLAB), the Data Analysis Research Group (GRAD) at UIB, and the Statistical and Psychometric Procedures Applied in Health Sciences (PSICOMEST) at the Health Research Institute (IdISBa).1

His research focuses on:

Leguizamo has contributed to studies on the psychological impact of COVID-19 on high-performance athletes2 and explored attributional and coping strategies in competitive injured athletes.5 He is also involved in entrepreneurship and business management.3

Recently, Leguizamo obtained a certification in Innovation in Teaching from Harvard Business Publishing6 and presented research on behavioral intervention in football coaches' communication at the FEPSAC Congress 2024 in Innsbruck.8
