Jeffery Smith
Jeffery Smith is a highly experienced researcher and advocate in the field of HIV and malaria. With over 20 years of experience managing clinical research and educational programs, Smith has worked for organizations such as the Worldwide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN), the University of Maryland's Center for Vaccine Development, and the Foundation for AIDS Research's TREAT Asia Program. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA), where he advocates for and builds capacity for sustainable HIV and malaria drug resistance surveillance and management systems in the Asia-Pacific region.
