Ilan David Manouach is an accomplished artist and researcher, specializing in conceptual and post-digital art. He has a PhD in New Media & Arts from Aalto University and a Master of Arts in Contemporary Art from Dutch Art Institute. Manouach has a keen interest in the intersection of contemporary graphic literature and disruptive technology in the 21st century. He is known globally for his groundbreaking work Shapereader, a system of tactile storytelling created for blind and visually impaired readers. He established Applied Memetic to research the political implications of generative art and promote new media-rich internet literacy. Manouach has published over 20 book works and exhibited his solo works at renowned museums, galleries and festivals worldwide. Manouach is an ONASSIS Fellow and KONE alumnus. He is currently a Consultant for ONASSIS Publications.
