Carolyn Ray is an accomplished branding, communications, and marketing professional with over 25 years of experience. She is widely recognized as a mentor, an activator, and an unconventional thinker who blends creativity, insight, and bold action to drive measurable business outcomes. Carolyn started her career at Interbrand, where she created and led the global Internal Brand Engagement practice, helping organizations and leadership teams adapt to change. In 2017, Carolyn left Interbrand to form AUTHENTICA, an unconventional brand strategy firm that helps organizations lead with authenticity to create trustworthy and purposeful organizations. Carolyn has also deepened her commitment as an advocate for women by acquiring JourneyWoman, a global women's travel magazine empowering women through travel.
Trained as a CTI Co-active Coach, Carolyn actively mentors emerging leaders and supports female entrepreneurs as a SheEO Activator. Her passion for Toronto's history has led to her appointment to the Board of Directors of the Myseum of Toronto, where she chairs the marketing committee.
Carolyn was also recognized as one of Canada's top 100 female entrepreneurs on the PROFIT/Chatelaine W100 list in 2013. Her ability to blend creativity and innovation has amplified her reputation as a leader in the branding industry.
