Daniel Shir is an accomplished entrepreneur and tech expert with a passion for coffee. He studied BA, Computer Science at The Interdisciplinary Center and has put his education to good use in a variety of roles. He co-founded and served as CTO of Acumen Labs, mentored at Techstars, served as Head of Data Engineering and Head of API at Rakuten Viber, and was a teacher and advisor at IDC Herzliya. Daniel is also a former CTO and co-founder of Nextpeer, which was acquired by Viber. Prior to these positions, he worked as an independent software consultant, a backend engineer at fring, and a developer and project manager at Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps.

Throughout his career, Daniel has been involved in a range of tech-focused projects that have required him to use his skills in data engineering, API development, iOS and Android development, and project management. His expertise in these areas has helped him to build successful companies, mentor startups, and influence the tech industry as a whole. In addition to his work in tech, Daniel is a coffee lover who enjoys sampling different roasts and brewing methods.
