Senior Managing Director  -  Division Director  -  Financial Services Sector Leader

Global Alliance Director of a +700 person team which operates +50 MM square feet of facilities (office, retail and data centers) globally for a major financial institution client. Achieved over 8% annual operational savings (+$30 MM), improved engineering operations (self-performance increase of 20%), successfully delivered +$100 MM in projects and achieved a world-class safety rating (TRIR well below 1.0).  Used lean six sigma principles and analytics to improve engineering performance, service quality (for both our team and vendor partners), sourcing operations and capital planning.  Lead sustainability efforts that have achieved significant energy savings including LED retrofit, water conservation, and phase change insulation.

Assembled a 5-member team in support of a multi-billion dollar corporate services group. Worked closely with leadership to define metrics and strategies for travel, meeting planning, real estate, and procurement. Regularly updated senior leaders on Firm performance and strategy in corporate services.   Created strategic reporting function for all major service lines in global procurement. Established consistent metrics and KPIs. Created strategies, analysis, and management committee presentations for specific service line needs.

McKinsey & Company

Director of Business Analytics, Global Procurement and Real Estate

Oversaw a portfolio of offices in 4 countries, accounting for nearly 500K square feet. Coordinate strategic and financial planning for a global real estate portfolio in collaboration with local office leadership. Ensure proper accounting of all occupancy-related expenditures, liaising with Firm Controller. Select and manage teams of brokers, counsel, architects, and contractors. Perform NPV and other financial analysis of potential locations.   Negotiated 100+ leases in 10 counties in the past year, translating to 300K+ square feet acquired.  Set workplace strategy that reduced space per billable employee 40% and cost per billable employee 27%, and that aligned space and design goals to better support client service and firm values.
