Claus Hetting is a seasoned telecommunications industry professional with over 25 years of experience in various roles. Claus has a passion for Wi-Fi and all of its potential use cases, and his goal is to see Wi-Fi accessible for everyone and everything, everwhere. Claus has worked for Nokia for eight years in various global positions before working as an independent consultant supporting vendors, service providers, banks, industry organizations, and research houses within the telecommunications and IT industries. Claus has focused on Wi-Fi for the past decade and took it upon himself to create a favorable business environment and a community that allows big and small entities to benefit from Wi-Fi's continued proliferation. Claus has a diploma in Journalism from the London School of Journalism, a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Denmark Technical University. Claus is the CEO and Chairman of Wi-Fi NOW, and he frequently speaks at conferences, moderates panels, and provides expert commentary on Wi-Fi-related topics.
