Joseph Owen is a highly skilled freelance translator based in Lisbon, Portugal. With over 13 years of experience working in consultancies, including the roles of Associate Director at Dolon Ltd, and Senior Consultant at Medaxial/Covance, he has extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. Owen specializes in translating Portuguese to English, with a focus on the medical and pharmaceutical fields. In addition to his translation work, Owen is also a DJ and is currently completing a post-graduate course in systems and psychodynamic approaches to consulting and leading in organizations at the University of Essex. He received a BA in Natural Sciences, History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge and an MA in History of Medicine from Wellcome Trust, UCL.
