Aalok Purohit is a seasoned Talent Acquisition and Management professional with over two decades of experience in the industry. He has worked extensively in the Middle East and South East Asian markets, making a name for himself as a mentor of world-class talent and an outstanding team builder.

Before embarking on his career as a talent management specialist, Aalok wore many hats. He worked as a programmer, project manager, managing consultant, recruiter, and even started his own business. These experiences have given him a unique perspective on managing multi-disciplinary projects and navigating complex challenges.

In his current role as Director of Early Careers & Talent Sourcing - APAC at UnitedHealth Group, Aalok is leading the charge in recalibrating the conventional Talent Acquisition process into a model that prioritizes Talent Attraction and Talent Engagement. He's also trained his recruitment teams on new age sourcing and social recruiting techniques, making them more effective and efficient than ever before.

Aalok is always looking to make new professional acquaintances and is happy to talk about recruitment, technology, or football. He's a graduate of Management Development Institute, where he studied for his MBA in Marketing. He was also a student at M.B.M. Engineering College, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
