Guru Chahal is a prominent Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners with a focus on early stage investments in enterprise IT. He is highly experienced in building category-defining products in areas such as data center (networking/servers/storage), security, wireless networks, and cloud. Chahal is a co-founder of Avi Networks, a next-generation application services company. Before his venture capitalist career, he served as the Director of Product Management at Cisco and also worked with Mozilla and Nuova Systems. Chahal holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science from Stanford University. He also studied Management at Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering from Punjab University.
