Jess R is an accomplished economist and analyst with a passion for middle housing and the removal of qualified immunity. With a Master's degree in economics from George Mason University and a B.A. in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, and Political Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, Jess has a diverse educational background. Additionally, Jess has studied data science, visual design, and front-end web development at General Assembly, rounding out her skill set.
Jess has impressive experience with several prestigious organizations, including The Brookings Institution, where Jess served as a Senior Digital Analyst and UX Analyst, and The Atlantic, where Jess worked as a Fellow and in Product development. Jess has also worked as a Media Relations Associate at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, Journalism Intern at Reason Magazine, and Intern at the Marijuana Policy Project. Jess has also been a Writing Tutor and Research Assistant at the Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, an Intern at ACLU, and co-founder of The Night Truck, LLC.
