Dan Zaiontz is a highly skilled and experienced professional with an extensive background in communication, strategic planning, and advancement. With almost nine years of experience at Seneca College, where he has held various leadership roles, Dan is an expert in institutional business plan development, alumni profiling, executive remarks, social media posts, and internal newsletters and articles. His writing style is warm and empathetic, infused with the underlying human story behind the subject matter. Dan is known for exercising high levels of empathy, humility, positivity, and emotional intelligence in his interactions with colleagues and clients.
Dan's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University and a Master's Degree in Communications Management from McMaster University. He is currently a Senior Communications Advisor at Querencia Partners Canada Ltd. and a former Sr. Development Officer of Major Giving, Manager of Special Projects in Advancement, Strategic Planning, and Public Policy, Manager of Social Media and Media Relations, and Professor of Sports and Event Marketing at Seneca College. In his personal life, Dan is a dedicated family man who spends his leisure time walking in nature with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children. They have explored every playground in their area during the pandemic, and Dan says that his family brings him immense joy.
