Charles Nawrot is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in medical technologies, product development, and commercialization. He earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Northwestern University and a BA in Chemistry from St. Mary's College. Charles has worked in the healthcare industry for many years, contributing to the development of fifteen new medical products during his tenure at Abbott Diagnostics. He has also served in top leadership positions at Centocor, Baxter Healthcare Corporation, and Tektagen, Inc., creating new biotechnology companies and licensing medical technologies. Charles is a former President and CEO of TheraCyte, Inc. and a former Associate Vice President of Technology Transfer and Economic Development at Medical College of Georgia, where he helped four faculty members start their own commercial ventures. Charles is passionate about pushing medical innovation in promising companies or non-profit organizations.
