Chris Ward is a skilled film editor with over 20 years of experience working on a range of projects from commercial campaigns to short films. He has collaborated with award-winning directors and creatives to deliver engaging and emotive storytelling with a keen eye for narrative flow. Chris has achieved notable accolades such as winning Best Editing at Flickerfest in 2017, and being shortlisted for an ASE Ellie award in 2020. He has a passion for finding fresh ways to approach film editing in various genres, including commercial, content, documentary, and film. Chris is available for freelance projects both locally and abroad and has a boutique edit suite in Collingwood with the ability to facilitate remote edit sessions.

Chris began his career after graduating from Billanook College and has held roles as a Freelance Film & Television Editor and Senior Editor at companies such as Complete Post, Chocolate Studios, and Studio Pancho (where he was also a co-founder). He has worked on significant campaigns such as SPC's 'My Family Can' project, which won Bronze Lions at Cannes, and the animated short documentary "Nowhere Line," which won Best Short Documentary at MIFF in 2015. Additionally, Ward edited the award-winning music video for Safia's 'Resolution,' which explores the story of a Mongolian female sumo wrestler's rise to success.
