Michael Waters, FCPA, FCA

FCPA Michael Waters is an accomplished corporate leader with over 20 years of experience in real estate finance, investment, and development, as well as financial advisory services.

As the CEO of The Minto Group, Michael has led the transformation of Minto into a world-class real estate investment management company, overseeing various aspects including corporate services, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, development, property operations, and homebuilding in Canada and Florida.

Michael's professional journey includes roles at notable companies such as Intrawest Corporation, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and KPMG LLP, where he honed his skills in corporate finance.

Michael is actively involved in the real estate industry and academia, serving on the Board of REALpac, the Board of Governors of Algonquin College, and the Advisory Board for the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, along with prestigious designations such as Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
