Stratman has worked in various roles throughout his career, including as an Intelligence Officer and Armor Officer in the US Army, a Manager of Merchandising Operations at McMaster-Carr, and Business Development & Project Management at Mapbox. He currently serves as a Senior Technical Account Manager at Mapbox, where he assists their clients in implementing geospatial technology into their business strategies.

In addition to his professional experience, Stratman also previously advised Natural Atlas, a company that focuses on providing detailed outdoor maps, and worked as a Civil Operations Project Manager for the US Army.
