Erik Tomasi is an accomplished entrepreneur, information security expert, and speaker with a wealth of experience in managing and leading major enterprises. He has worked as a CIO and Senior IT executive in various organizations where he led IT restructuring and developed innovative technology solutions that focused on business priorities. Erik has diverse experience across multiple industry sectors, having started two companies, worked for PWC and IBM as a management consultant and taught as an adjunct Professor at Baruch College and other public and private institutions. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), C - Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and a Certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Erik serves as the Managing Partner at Symosis Security, where he leads teams and provides hands-on expertise in information security for major enterprises. He recently directed a SCADA focused security assessment for a northeast-based power generation company and conducted a HIPAA assessment for a fast-growing physical therapy company. Erik has also executed Information Security assessments for an international media company, reviewed the security environment for one of the world's top non-profit private foundations, and assisted one of the largest wireless carriers in Southeast Asia in selecting a SIEM solution. Additionally, he managed the implementation of two new data centers and US IT asset migration for a major Israeli Bank.

Erik's other roles have included serving as the President and Founder at EMT Consulting, VP of Information Services at Hermès and Ironshore Insurance, VP & CIO at Sirius International Insurance Group Ltd., Director of Technical Services at ePlus Inc., and Systems Engineer at IBM. He has been a former Board Member at ByteFly, Inc., Adviser and former Chief Operating Officer at DTG Consulting Solutions, and Board Member at American Friends of the Rambam Medical Center.
