Brent Copple is an experienced instructional leader with a passion for education and a lifelong commitment to learning. A graduate of both Portland State University and Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Copple has worked in K-12 education for public and charter school systems. His expertise includes teaching, curriculum development, data and assessment management, instructional coaching, and facilitating professional adult learning. Copple currently serves as Program Manager at Code Nation, previously held the position of Instructional Teacher Leader (Coach) at Oakland Unified School District and was a former 5th Grade Teacher at Hawaii State Department of Education. He also worked as a Humanities Associate at Rocketship Public Schools and was a Core Member of Teach For America in 2012. Copple is a dedicated athlete, traveler, and playlist maker, and currently lives in Oregon.
