Larry Mattera, an accomplished music executive with over 20 years of experience, has been appointed as the new General Manager of Capitol Records. In his role, he will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, focusing on marketing commerce and streaming strategies to bolster the label's breakthrough artists and further the careers of established ones. Prior to joining Capitol, Mattera held several high-ranking positions at Warner Music Group, including his most recent position as General Manager and EVP of Commerce & Marketing for Warner Records. In this role, he led the company's commercial, marketing, and digital strategies, which were instrumental in pushing Warner's legendary artists such as Dua Lipa, Andra Day, and Jason Derulo to new heights. Before Warner, Mattera worked as SVP Global Digital Accounts for WEA, where he oversaw the company's digital revenue initiatives, working with global service providers such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon. He has a Master of Arts degree in Music from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Sacred Heart University.
