Leigh D'Angelo is a pet-loving communication specialist with diverse professional experience. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Broadcast Digital Journalism from Syracuse University, she worked as a TV news reporter and producer. She also pursued investigative reporting internships with WVUE-TV and The Lens NOLA. In addition, Leigh earned a Master's degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Response Management from Tulane University, where she later taught as an adjunct professor. She is also an experienced executive business leader, having co-founded and served as the CEO of Dig-The Dog Person's Dating App and co-founder of Tabby-The Cat Person's Dating App. These experiences taught her how to build strategic messaging, execute branding and communications plans, and manage press relations.
Leigh's professional background showcases her impressive combination of skills and interests. Her award-winning ability to communicate complex topics to the public and her passion for dogs have led her to her current role as Communications Strategist at NASA's Rocket Factory at ASRC Federal. She has also served as the Southeast Louisiana Regional Director at Coastal Conservation Association and as the Executive Producer of "On the Block" with Brent Axe at The Score 1260. Apart from her pet-friendly work, Leigh's interests include scuba diving and learning to become a pilot.
