Dea Surjadi is a prominent figure in Indonesia's startup scene. She is currently the Head of Indonesia at Golden Gate Ventures - a venture capital firm that invests in tech startups across Southeast Asia. Dea also serves as a bridge between investors and entrepreneurs, connecting promising startups with the necessary resources to help them succeed.

Dea started her career as a journalist, studying Broadcast Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She then went on to work in various roles, including Producing Intern at NBCUniversal Media and Reporter at KBIA 91.3 FM. Dea's experience in storytelling and media relations would eventually lead her to a career in business development and public relations.

Prior to joining Golden Gate Ventures, Dea held positions at PT Merah Cipta Media, Gift Card Indonesia, and Kolibrii Commerce. She was also a consultant at Weber Shandwick and worked as a Public Relations Specialist at various contract positions.
