He brings over two decades of experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, developing and launching innovative products, and driving growth and innovation in high-growth environments.

Johan is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Appen, a global leader in the development of high-quality, human-annotated datasets for machine learning and artificial intelligence. In this role, he oversees a team of engineers and data scientists responsible for building and maintaining Appen's cutting-edge technology platform and delivering exceptional services to its customers. Before that, he served as the CTO of Social Media Division and Founder & CTO at Wikman Remer Consulting.

Johan's distinguished career spans a number of well-known companies including Zynga, Lithium Technologies, and Autodesk, where he held various leadership and engineering roles.
