Orin Levine is a seasoned public health expert and an innovative advocate for reducing child mortality. He has consistently demonstrated his passion for improving access to evidence-based health interventions, like vaccines, in low- and middle-income countries. With over 30 years of experience, Levine currently serves as the Director of Global Delivery Programs at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he leads teams to expand the reach and impact of life-saving health interventions.

Before joining the foundation in 2012, Levine spent nearly a decade working at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. There, he focused on speeding up global access to vaccines and held various roles such as Executive Director of the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) and Associate Professor of Department of International Health. Levine has also worked as an Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Levine's academic background is in epidemiology and management. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS in Management from Gettysburg College.

Throughout his career, Levine's commitment to social justice and health equity has been a driving force. He continues to leverage his expertise, leadership, and advocacy skills to enhance health systems and reduce health disparities globally.
