Cyndi Conn is a well-rounded creative professional and consultant with a wealth of experience and expertise in curatorial studies, arts administration, and community development. She holds a Master's degree from Skidmore College, a Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from Tulane University, and studied at the Universidad Ibero Americana in Mexico City. Cyndi has lived in various parts of the world, including Mexico City, Austin, and Paris.
Currently, Cyndi is the Founder and President of LaunchProjects LLC, a creative consulting firm with a successful track record of engaging and inspiring organizations, leaders, and influencers. Cyndi's approach leverages the power of thought-provoking dialog, events, and exhibitions to harness differing viewpoints and transform the way individuals and organizations communicate.
In addition, Cyndi serves on the Governing Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, the International Council for the Black Mountain Institute, and advisory boards of N Square Innovators and the National Parks Arts Foundation. She co-chaired Mayor Alan Webber's task force to catalyze job creation in 2018, and in 2014, she chaired Mayor Javier Gonzales' housing and community development transition team.
Prior to starting LaunchProjects, Cyndi held various roles and positions, including Executive Director of Creative Santa Fe, Visual Arts Director and Curator of the Center for Contemporary Arts, and Gallery Director of EVO Gallery.
