Miriam Rivera is a proven leader in business, law, technology, and venture capital. With experience ranging from startup founder to VP at F500 Google, Miriam has negotiated $10B+in commercial partnerships and has played a vital role in re-engineering Google's sales closing process. As the CEO, co-founder, and Managing Director at Ulu Ventures, Miriam has driven execution and scaled operations in a high-performance, data-driven, ethical, and diverse culture under hyper-growth.
Miriam's corporate governance experience includes ASX public company board member, assistant secretary to US public company board with $10B in revenue, nonprofit boards with multi-billion dollar endowments, as well as private company boards. She has received an MBA and a JD from Stanford University as well as undergraduate degrees in AM Spanish (Latin American/Caribbean Literature) and AB Sociology. She has also studied Fellowship in Venture Capital at Kauffman Fellows.
Additionally, Miriam has been involved in numerous organizations such as Sesame Workshop, Kauffman Foundation, Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford, and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
