Branden Barber is a seasoned organizational leader with over 25 years of experience in the social impact and for-profit sectors in the United States and Australia. Barber has dedicated his career to environmental and social justice initiatives, conservation programs, and promoting equity, and peace.

Barber's passion for the environment has led him to work with various organizations focused on conservation programs, including Bioneers, Amazon Watch, and Rainforest Rescue, where he serves as CEO. His expertise lies in leadership, fundraising, constituent and stakeholder engagement, board engagement, communications, and relationship building, as well as content and brand strategy. Barber is also skilled in graphic design, web design, and multimedia production.

Prior to leading Rainforest Rescue, Barber co-founded Different and worked as an independent consultant. He has served as Director of Engagement at Amazon Watch, Development Director at Hoffman Institute Foundation and Rainforest Action Network, and Multimedia and Design Instructor at RMIT University. Barber has also held positions as Sr. Project Manager at Sapient and Assistant Engineer at Greenpeace Marine Division.

Barber earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He brings vast Leadership Team and Board experience and has partnered with civic leaders, funders, philanthropists, and activists to promote sustainability and strengthen movements.
