Dr. Avinash Aithal

Dr. Avinash Aithal is a highly qualified Chartered Electrical Engineer with a PhD in Smart Grids from Cardiff University. Throughout his academic and professional career, Dr. Aithal has demonstrated a keen interest in power system design, integration of smart interventions in electricity networks, future energy networks, and techno-economic analysis for utilities.

Dr. Aithal's education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, as well as a Master's Degree in Electrical Energy Systems and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Smart Grids from Cardiff University.

Currently, Dr. Aithal serves as a Senior Consultant for Strategy and Interventions at EA Technology, where he provides expert insight into various aspects of the utility industry. Prior to joining EA Technology, he worked as a Consultant for the same company, as well as a Research Assistant at Cardiff University, a Senior Engineer at Alstom Transport, a Design Engineer at GE Energy, and a Research Intern at Mindtree Ltd.
