Karim Srouji is an experienced leader in Digital Transformation and Cyber Security audits, risk management and compliance with a background in the Energy Industry and public sector. With over 9 years of experience across the US, Middle East and France, he is a self-starter, result driven and passionate team player always looking to improve himself and those around him in order to reach their goals and objectives.

Currently, Karim is a Senior Staff Cyber Risk Manager at GE Renewable Energy, where he leads the Cyber Risk and Compliance team that covers GDPR, CSL, LGPD and ISO 27002. He also leads the control definition and design for GE Renewable Energy Datalake to ensure compliance based on SOX, NIST data privacy regulations globally. Prior to this role, Karim worked on the Corporate Digital Internal Audit and Consulting team at GE, auditing critical systems (cloud and on-prem) and SDLC processes to ensure risks are identified, mitigated and intellectual property and confidential data is protected.

Karim's educational background includes studying at the American University of Beirut, Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a former Information Technology Leadership Program participant at GE and worked as a consultant at Shift Technologies.
