The I&SP group handles all aspects and stages of partnerships with tech companies: from initial conversations focused on finding partnership opportunities, to negotiating contracts defining those partnerships, through to product development and ongoing partnership relationship management. In my time on the team I worked with Samsung, Microsoft, Intuit, Sony, Qiwi and TwoTap, among others.

• Managed and supported Microsoft partnership initiative from original ideation meetings, through product development and contract negotiation phases
• Advocated for Intuit partnership through reigniting the existing relationship, resulting in a
signed global framework agreement and strategic partnership incentive agreement
• Collaborator on original core Connected Car team; innovated and developed brand new usecases
and proof-of-concept for in-car payments, which has since been expanded and exhibited globally; listed inventor on pending patent for related technology
• Coordinated internally with SMEs across Risk, Finance, Marketing, Pricing, and Legal teams to support partnership needs
• Organized Quarterly Business Reviews with key clients
• Met and evaluated various fintech start-ups for potential partnership opportunities
• Supported Sr. Directors and VPs with day-to-day relationship management and development of strategic accounts, including Microsoft, Samsung, Intuit, Qiwi, PayPal and Sony
• As an analyst, created and distributed well-received daily industry and partner news digest, which provided an easily digestible snapshot of industry activities and had a distribution of 350+ employees, including the full C-Suite and Executive Committee

Program Manager, Innovation & Strategic Partnerships

The B&EI group, led by Visa's chief economist, focuses on providing key insights on the state of the economy and how it influences the way consumers spend, save and pay down debt, both in the US and with a global view. The main products of the group are client presentations, product forecasts and regular publications that inform internal and external executives about how shifts in the economy influence the payments business.

• Collected, audited and reported quarterly data from all sizable US issuer and acquirer clients to compare various profitability measures for consumer credit portfolios across the industry
• Managed redesign of Profit Analysis Report system and data submission process which shortened the data collection and audit process from seven weeks down to four; received positive client feedback on new process 
• Authored half of the Bankcard Outlook (an industry forecast publication); designed same using Adobe Creative Suite
• Attended on-site Issuer and Acquirer cost studies where we interviewed functional management to break down and re-allocate costs for cross comparison 
• Authored and updated various monthly and quarterly publications
• Co-founded Young Professionals at Visa interest group
• Analyzed and visually presented economic data for use in presentations to international financial institutions

Business Analyst, Business & Economic Insights

• Created and maintained economic profiles for 52 countries to predict maximum consumption and productivity potential using demographic forecasts and historical economic data
• Trusted by Chief Economist to oversee final details of several publications
• Ran models in eViews to project Visa payment volumes in 7 different countries and produced reports to communicate projections to regional directors and finance teams
• Researched, implemented and trained others in the use of complex mapping software to visualize shifts in unemployment; utilized maps in PowerPoint animation to best display data for presentations to US and international financial institutions
