Baarsma has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where he gained a solid foundation in the business landscape. His professional experience is vast, covering various facets of the programmatic advertising space, including strategic, technological, operational, and business development.

Throughout his career, Baarsma has been passionate about programmatic advertising, and he has extensive knowledge of the sector. He has led various roles in the industry, serving as a programmatic consultant at Dentsu Aegis Network, co-founder & CTO at Yieldr, developer & media buyer at CPX Publishers, and co-founder & chief product at Faktor B.V., which was later acquired by LiveRamp.

In his current role as Head of Product, Privacy & Consumer Experiences at LiveRamp, Baarsma focuses on developing market-beating software products for complex legislative and business challenges. He brings his expertise in privacy and consent management to the table, working to design software solutions for data privacy challenges that span industries.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Baarsma enjoys being a mentor at Startupbootcamp and collaborating with other entrepreneurs to build innovative companies. Health and fitness are also important to Baarsma, as he spends his spare time instructing group fitness classes.
