Ricardo Langer is a highly experienced Project Manager and Technical Director, with over 20 years of experience in digital film post-production at VIDEO SHACK. Ricardo has a strong background in analog and legacy film and video production, and has recently developed extensive expertise in UHDTV and IPTV. Ricardo is particularly experienced in the development of accessible media, including solutions for hearing impaired individuals, closed captioning, Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), and audio description. As the Accessible Media Director at VIDEO SHACK, Ricardo has overseen Media Asset Management (MAM) and archive digitization projects, as well as metadata enrichment for media assets. He is always interested in migration technologies and has remained a drone pilot and aerial cinematographer, maintaining his skills in cutting-edge media production techniques. Ricardo studied Engineering at Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro, and also studied at GIMK - Grupo Integrado Magdalena Kahn.
