Jugoslav Petkovic, an entrepreneur and angel investor, has accomplished quite a lot throughout his career. With a keen eye for business, he started his first company in Slovenia at the young age of 18. He co-founded mimovrste=), a leading online retailer in Slovenia with a 50% market share. Additionally, he founded Domenca (now D.labs), a web development company that focuses on helping other businesses grow online. He acted as CTO and then CEO for both companies before they grew from a combined $5M revenue and 35 employees to $30M+ revenue and 100+ employees.

Jugoslav's achievements did not go unnoticed, and his companies were recognized for their excellent employee experience and the best on-line services, among other notable traits. Mimovrste raised $4M, and Netretail Holding, part of Naspers, acquired mimovrste=) in 2012.

In 2012, Jugoslav turned his attention to mentoring dozens of Slovenian startups and spearheading the Slovenian startup scene. Today, based in San Francisco, he's launching another venture and connecting Silicon Valley and Southeast Europe. He's an active angel investor and mentor to several startups and an aspiring chef and baker.

Jugoslav's main areas of expertise include online retail, product management, digital marketing, PR, introducing startup thinking to older companies, and creating innovative workplaces. He studied at The Culinary Institute Of America and has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from a presitgious university. He sat on several prominent positions in various organizations, such as the Silicon Gardens Fund II, Slovanian Basketball Association, CEED Slovenia, and the Information Society Council to the Prime Minister at Government of the Republic of Slovenia, to name a few.
