George Withecombe is a well-rounded professional with a diverse background in journalism and communications. He is currently the Head of Comms & Content at Silicon Milkroundabout, where he brings his expertise in content creation, media relations, and event management to lead the development of the first virtual jobs festival launching in Spring 2021. George graduated from Swansea University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and has since held several editorial positions at Thomson Reuters, culminating in Senior Editor. He gained valuable experience in researching, writing and editing news and features, honed his analytical and critical thinking abilities, and developed a strong understanding of the media industry. George is also a former Junior Researcher at the National Assembly for Wales/Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru. With his passion for helping people find purpose in the work they do, he is committed to creating an engaging and dynamic program of talks, workshops, and resources to provide job seekers with a unique and meaningful experience.
