Sir Ken Robinson was a renowned British author, speaker, and educator, whose work focused on education, creativity, and innovation. Born in Liverpool, England, on March 4, 1950, he attended the University of Leeds and the University of London, where he received a Ph.D. in education. He worked as a professor of arts education at the University of Warwick for about 12 years and later served as a professor of education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has authored several books, including "Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative," "The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything" and "You, Your Child, and School: Navigate Your Way to the Best Education." His most famous TED Talk, "Do Schools Kill Creativity?", has over 66 million views and remains one of TED's most popular talks. Robinson passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 70.
