Russell Lonser
Dr. Russell Lonser is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon with an extensive educational background and a wealth of experience in various prestigious organizations.
He pursued his academic journey at Loma Linda University, School of Medicine, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and a Surgical Internship. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Andrews University. Furthermore, Dr. Lonser furthered his specialization by completing a Neurological Surgery Residency Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
With a passion for neurosurgery, Dr. Russell Lonser has held significant positions throughout his career. He currently serves as the Co-Director of the Neurologic Institute at The Ohio State University. Additionally, he has previously served as the Director at the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Chairman at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, President of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Program Director for the Neurological Surgery Residency at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Chief of the Surgical Neurology Branch, and Staff Clinician at the same prestigious institution.
