Fausto Inestroza

Fausto Inestroza is an accomplished engineering lead with a wealth of experience in data infrastructure and product development. He currently leads the development of data pipelines, data services, and platform infrastructure at Earnin, a fintech company. Previously, he worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Apple and Silicon Valley Data Science. He has a strong academic background, having earned a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.

Fausto's expertise is in building data systems and infrastructure for machine learning and data science teams. He has experience working with cloud-based distributed architectures, stream processing, and large-scale data and model management. He also has experience building analytical systems and experimentation platforms.

In addition to his work at Earnin, Fausto is a talented educator. He is an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University’s Masters of Science of Analytics program, where he co-lectures a course on the development and deployment of analytical and machine learning data products. In this role, he teaches students about model versioning, reproducibility, effective data architecture for model development, and A/B testing.
